Adrian van Wijk, BCID.

Adrian graduated from the Technikon Witwatersrand, South Africa, in Industrial Design in 1992. Distinguishing himself as a product designer, he has been the recipient of multiple design awards. In 1998 Adrian immigrated to Canada and a year later he founded JDi Design Inc.

Adrian is actively involved in the design industry and serves on the executive board of BCID (The British Columbia Industrial Design Association). He has also been honoured with a 2-year presidency in both BCID and ACID (The Association for Canadian Industrial Designers).

In 2003 Adrian founded Key3D.com , a Rapid Prototyping firm catering to the R&D industry. Key3D's "star trek replicator" (3D printing machine) has been featured on the front page of the Vancouver Sun's Business section.

Adrian keeps fit by chasing his toddler and bicycle commuting.
